Osteopathy is a philosophy based on a deep knowledge of human anatomy and physiology allowing, with observation, the research of the causes that result in an alteration of the health. It uses the treatment of Ten Fingers Therapy on the entire body. We are focused on the optimal mobility of all parts of the human body and free fluid circulation.

Optimal mobility permits a whole-body care support system. The manipulations are gentle and precisely applied on different systems of the body such as muscles, ligaments, fascias and joints. But not just that… Your osteopath also works on the visceral system (digestion for instance) as well as neural and circulatory (lymphatics, veins and arteries) systems.

Oh No No No..... these are not your grandmothers kind of Stockings. We carry style and all sorts of colours.

Compression Stocking Therapy involves a couple steps before we find you the right pair for your comfort..

First you will need to visit your family Doctor for a prescription indicating what kind of compression level, length / body part coverage your Doctors recommends and reports as your diagnosis for the need of compression therapy. Need the note pad for your doctor to fill in. Don't worry we can give you that. Just walk on in and we can give you that on the spot.

Next we would book you in for a Compression Fitting with one of our Certified Fitters. Don't worry this won't take long (20 minutes) and it is a complimentary service. This is best done a few hours after you have waken up in the morning due to gravity and the affect it has on your body when upright.. Swelling of the feet, ankles and legs can occur after being on your feet for a period of time so we need you in within the first few hours of you being upright for the day. This will ensure we get an accurate measurement. Now you are ready to pick the pair that suits your style and daily activities.

Our Compression Stockings are CUSTOM FITTED, so please be aware we will NOT dispense you items without a Medical Prescription and custom fitted measurements.

Eden moved to Toronto from Collingwood Ontario with more than 8 years experience in the Massage industry. She worked in both the Spa and Orthopedic industry. She has experience treating post surgery patients rehabbing from injury. Armed with this experience, she believes that the body needs help to heal from everyday life at work, injury and special life events like pregnancy.

Massage has been proven through many double-blind studies to ease the body of many conditions. Eden is willing to use her skills to help facilitate the body’s healing processes and get her patients back to a higher quality of life without pain.

She likes working on these conditions: -Headaches - all types; -Muscle tension relieved through deep tissue massage; -Sports injuries and rehabilitation programs; -Pregnancy and post pregnancy.

Eden also uses MPS (Microcurrent Point Stimulation) to release of adhesion in the body. It is like a TENS machine but acts closer to the body’s natural way of healing. Studies have shown that MPS therapy can benefit many chronic disorders; through healing the scar tissue (adhesions) in the deeper layers of the body. It stimulates the nervous, endocrine and muscular systems to help the body decrease pain. There have been studies conducted on C-section scars and concussions that revealed outstanding results with MPS therapy

Freedom of movement allows freedom of self. Whether that means playing with your children, crushing a workout, or frolicking in nature, we were meant to move - that’s why it’s called move-meant! Together, let’s talk about what that looks like for you, identify your goals, and embark on a journey toward them.

My own journey started as a child when I played many sports, overcame injuries, and felt how physical limitations affected my ability to move and be myself. During my first ecstatic dance, I discovered what it meant to truly move freely, and felt how I had been limiting my self.

This inspired me to study Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, Massage Therapy at Sutherland-Chan, and now Osteopathy at Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy. I keep taking courses to gather practical information from my experiences. I believe that understanding our health is the most important thing we can do, and I am constantly integrating new information to upgrade my practice.

Through a combination of clinical assessment and intuition, I craft a specialized approach that draws upon manual therapy techniques like Swedish, deep tissue, muscle energy, myofascial, joint play, and trigger point release in combination with breath, mindfulness, and neurology. My intention is to offer a welcoming, easeful, non-judgemental sanctuary that soothes the soul, calms the mind, and allows the body to speak. Only by listening, can we create the ideal conditions that facilitate its innate healing abilities.

Freedom of movement allows freedom of self. Whether that means playing with your children, crushi... Read More
